Visual Arts – Grades 6-8
Students were encouraged to observe the different pictures and pretend that they were in the picture. Students invested about 10 to 15 minutes looking into the pictures and they imagined the situation in the picture. Then students wrote either a poem and/or narrative about the experience. Also, students pretended that they were an object in the picture and narrated what they were observing as the object in the picture.

Such a beautiful poem, this young girl has obviously been deeply touched by the exhibit. I hope other schools will encourage input in verse or essay too!
